The 60 km RUC was a 3-hourly analysis/forecast data
analysis system. ARM routinely obtained the analysis and 0-hour RUC results
every 3 hours.
The analysis product was ingested as the primary source, and the
0-hour product used as a backup. However, when the analysis was not available,
the 0-hour forecast was invariably missing as well. In this instance,
the 3-hour or 6-hour forecast from a previous analysis was used. This
information is documented in the data file header.
