This talk was given at the ARM IDPC meeting held in Salt Lake City, Utah November 5-7, 1997. This presentation describes the SGP (Southern Great Plains) GOES 8 (Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite) IDPC (Instrument Data Processing Circuit). This is one example of an ARM XDC (External Data Center) IDPC.
